Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Sei Kuning Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

Abstrak

Community service through Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one form of student contribution in overcoming problems in society. This study aims to examine the role of KKN in increasing environmental awareness and helping to improve the academic grades of Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP) students as well as increasing awareness of religious education in Sei Kuning Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The method used in this study is observation. KKN students participated in environmental cleaning activities, counseling on the importance of maintaining cleanliness, and providing guidance to children on the importance of education, both at school and religion, namely through teaching assistance at the TPA. The results of the study showed that through KKN, environmental awareness in Sei Kuning Village increased. The community began to understand how important it is to maintain cleanliness and care for the environment around them. Children also showed an increase in enthusiasm for learning both at school and at the TPA after being given guidance by KKN students.
